Swadeshi Iron Dome Indrajaal, Type-075 helicopter dock, UK India War Exercise, 2 Lakh Troops at LAC, Agni Prime Successful Test

Grene Robotics develops India’s 1st autonomous drone defence dome system – ‘Indrajaal’

Grene Robotics has designed and developed the country's first autonomous drone defence dome called Indrajaal. The firm has stated that an Indrajaal unit has the capability to autonomously protect an area of 1000-2000 square kilometer against threats such as UAV's, incoming weapons, loitering munitions, and Low RCS targets.

The firm has stated the development of Indrajaal was critical because manual weapons and point based defence systems can't fight modern warfare, which is driven by AI and robotics. For the first time in India and many times, globally rogue forces have adopted cutting edge technologies such as UAV's, Smart Swarms, etc for terror strikes. Jammu Air Base on June 27th was attacked by such technologies to drop explosives next to the Mi-17 hangar.

A minimum of 300 systems are required to be deployed to protect the entire western border and this is financially not a viable option. On the contrary, 6-7 Indrajaal systems with their seamless connectivity can protect the entire western border.

DRDO Successfully Flight Tests New Generation Agni Prime Ballistic Missile

Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully flight tested a New Generation Nuclear Capable Ballistic Missile Agni Prime from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam island off the coast of Odisha, Balasore.

Various telemetry and radar stations positioned along the eastern coast tracked and monitored the missile. The missile followed text book trajectory, meeting all mission objectives with high level of accuracy.

Agni Prime is a new generation advanced variant of Agni class of missiles. It is a canisterised missile with range capability between 1,000-2,000 kms.

China’s New Type 075 landing helicopter dock: A Threat To The US & Indian Military

Just weeks after the first Type 075 Landing Helicopter Dock was commissioned into the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy, a second is set to begin sea trials, while a third is now under construction.

The Type 075 is capable of carrying attack helicopters but could also serve the same purpose as any western aircraft carrier equipped with Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II jet fighters.

The Type 075 features a full-length flight deck for helicopter operations with Z 8 but also with Z-20, Z-10, Z-19 rotorcraft as well as rotorcraft UAVs. It can also serve as a platform for short takeoff and vertical landing aircraft such as the F-35B or AV-8B Harrier II attack aircraft.

India shifts 50,000 troops to China border in historic move

India has redirected at least 50,000 additional troops to its border with China in a historic shift toward an offensive military posture against the world’s second biggest economy.

Over the past few months, India has moved troops and fighter jet squadrons to three distinct areas along its border with China. All in all, India now has roughly 200,000 troops focused on the border, which is an increase of more than 40% from last year.

Whereas previously India’s military presence was aimed at blocking Chinese moves, the redeployment will allow Indian commanders more options to attack and seize territory in China if necessary in a strategy known as “offensive defense”.

Warship Queen Elizabeth to conduct KONKAN war games in Bay of Bengal with Indian Navy in July

Sending out an emphatic message of convergence on Indo Pacific, the United Kingdom’s Queen Elizabeth carrier strike group will participate in full spectrum exercises with the Indian Navy in the Bay of Bengal under the annual KONKAN war games next month as the 65,000 warship heads for maiden deployment in the South China Sea.

HMS Elizabeth, with the UK and the US F-35B stealth fighters on board is accompanied by destroyers from the UK and the US, frigates from the UK and the Netherlands, and a submarine. The warship left the UK on May 22 for a 28-week deployment through the Mediterranean and Indo Pacific in pursuit of freedom of navigation operations in the contested South China Sea.

While the dates of the KONKAN exercise are being finalised with the Indian Navy, the Carrier Group will war game around the Andaman and Nicobar Islands with Indian destroyers, submarines, P8I anti-submarine warfare planes and MiG 29K fighters.
